ChucK : Release

ChucK-1.3.x.x is part of the Chimera release of ChucK - so named for the new component-based (e.g., Chug-in) architecture that enables ChucK to be the sum of many different modules, similar to how the Chimera is composed from parts of different animals (examples). Previously, ChucK-1.2.x.x was part of the Dracula release of ChucK - why Dracula? While the still-previous release (Frankenstein/1.1.x.x) offered the proof of concepts (timing, concurrency, on-the-fly programming) with a generous propensity to explode. the Dracula release was more refined and powerful with the addition of arrays, objects, events (and better explosions too). The Dracula release was not very optimized and was capable of sucking all blood and life from your computer (one should anticipate spectacular crashes and other bloody disasters; this tradition continues in chimera). Please let us know if that happens.
